  1. Can I have a free copy? Lol! I’ll buy it when it comes out! Thanks for the answer and re-ensurement on Yahoo! Answers! Kind Regards James!

  2. Hey Adam,

Very nice intro. In regards to fighting evil, as someone who shares the same concern, I would only caution that you must also learn to recognize what evil is. After that, the throwing part is easy.

Also, it is not always necessary to use your judo skills to kill. I know of a fellow who subdued a home invasion in Hamilton by headlocking the robber and holding him down to the ground waiting for the cops to arrive…. for 25 minutes. He held the guy down in a stranglehold but didn’t kill him which he easily could’ve done (especially since his neighbor came to help and held the robber’s legs down making him even more vulnerable).

And if you do get sent to prison… I met a prison guard my size once in the 90′s who was a black belt in judo when I went to the US to train guns. He had been caught in a riot and threw 6 guys into the wall before he was tackled and broke his elbow on the floor. He was laughing when they loaded him into the ambulance. The prisoners never bothered him again after that.

That’s something else people forget about judo too. WE always assume a throw is going to the ground. If you really want to defend yourself from someone… throw him into the wall. There’s a bloody good reason the walls are matted in a good dojo (including ours at Ronin).

I’ll be going through your whole book this weekend. You’d better keep up the funny. I will bring the pretty, you bring the funny.
